KATHMANDU: As many as seven persons were arrested for illegal gambling from Gokarneshwar Municipality-8 of Kathmandu district on Wednesday, police said.

Police yesterday arrested Kancha Tamang and six others red-handed from Tamang’s rented room along with Rs 128,000 cash and three decks of cards from the site.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
