‘Settle arms issue before CA polls’

Kathmandu, October 19:

The Kamal Thapa-led Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has suggested the seven-party alliance and the Maoists

to settle the issue of arms management before going for elections to constituent assembly.

The CWC meeting of the Thapa-led RPP held at its party office today said unless the arms are separated from the Maoists, going for elections to constituent assembly would not be in favour of a majority of people.

The party has also suggested the government and the Maoists to leave it to the people to decide the fate of monarchy through constituent assembly. “Let people decide on monarchy,” Roshan Karki said.
