‘Swine flu’ patient’s samples sent for tests

KATHMANDU: Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital, Teku, has sent the throat swab of the UAE woman, who was quarantined by the special health desk at Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday on suspicion of contracting swine flu, to Bangkok for test. Dr Saroj Prasad Rajendra, the hospital director, said the report would be received on Friday, clarifying that no confirmation about the A(H1N1) virus had been made. -
