DAOs of Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur announce lifting of rules imposed with spread of pandemic

KATHMANDU, MARCH 4

All of the regulations that had been imposed by authorities in three districts of Kathmandu valley in a bid to control the spread of Covid-19 pandemic, have been lifted.

District Administration Offices of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur today issued a notice stating that the restrictive measures have been fully lifted.

The authorities, in the notice, stated that since the effect of the pandemic have lessened in the recent days, all political, social, economic, business related, educational activities may resume as usual from March 5.

However, residents of the valley have been urged to continue abiding safety and health protocols while returning to their normal lives.

The respective Chief District Officers have further thanks all officials and individuals for following the rules, and playing a part in controlling the spread of the contagion.
