Amber Gurung 'still critical but stable': Hospital
KATHMANDU: Veteran singer and music composer Amber Gurung's condition further deteriorated on Sunday night.
Gurung, who suffers from Parkison's disease and diabetes, has been kept on ventilator at the Dhapasi- based Grande International Hospital since early Friday morning.
His condition is said to be critical but stable this morning.
Earlier, it was reported that Gurung passed away.
Refuting the media reports, Grande International Hospital's Media and Public Relations Manager Binod Adhikari said the doctors have not made any official announcement on his condition yet.
The 78-year-old was admitted to the hospital following obstruction in his food pipe.
Earlier, our sources had unofficially said Gurung had passed away. The mistake is regretted.
