KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC)'s student wing, Nepal Student Union (NSU), has nominated Ananda Raj Tripathi as its general- secretary.

NSU President Nain Singh Mahar informed that Tripathi was nominated as the general secretary on Tuesday as per the NSU Statute.

NSU Statute has the provision to elect two general secretaries and nominate a general secretary.

Earlier, student leader Tripathi was a central member of the NSU.
