KATHMANDU: All Nepal National Free Students Union, student wing of the CPN-UML, on Thursday burnt the effigy of Hari Prasad Parajuli, who resigned as Minister for Agricultural Development on Thursday, in front of Saraswoti Multiple Campus, Kathmandu.

Parajuli is facing accusation of sexual harassment after pictures of him trying to grab and hug women during rice plantation celebrations on Tuesday were posted online.

Sudesh Parajuli, chief of education department of ANNFSU, said that the indecent behaviour of the minister with women in as public place had ruined the party’s image.
