Kathmandu, December 31:

The Green Tara Nursing Campus (GTNC) celebrated its third anniversary today amid a function. On the occasion, Bala Nanda Poudel, secretary at the ministry of education and sports, highlighted various challenges faced by the education sector. He underscored the need for a paradigm shift in education and educational institutions in order to develop manpower for the 21st century. Ganja Singh Gurung, chairman of the GTNC, said that the college is committed to provide education at minimum cost.

The college is providing scholarships to the economically poor but talented students, Gurung said. Students performed various cultural programme on the occasion. Prof Chitra Kumar Gurung and Mohan Devi Shrestha, campus chief, also expressed their views on the occasion.
