KATHMANDU: The 31st annual general meeting of the Nepal Forum of Environmental Journalists Forum (NEFEJ) that concluded here on Sunday elected a new executive committee led by Arjun Dhakal.

Similarly, Subodh Gautam and Ramesh Prasad Bhusal have been elected Vice-President and Secretary-General respectively.

Elected as Secretary and Treasurer are Durga Karki and Somnath Lamichhane respectively.

Likewise, the annual general meeting has elected Jitendra Raut, Sabin Sharma, Sharada Rijal, Kalpana Bhandari, Bhumi Raman Nepal and Suryaman Shakya as members, according to the organisation.

On the occasion, journalist Manoj Paudel, who writes on environmental issues, was awarded with the 'Batabaran Patrakarita Puraskar' (Environment Journalism Award) carrying a purse of Rs 25,000.
