Kathmandu, May 3 :

Shushil Dhungel, 32, of Kaushaltar, Bhaktapur, was killed and his wife, Bhagawati, injured when an army truck hit the motorcycle the couple was riding on, at Kaushaltar chowk, yesterday. Dhungel, succumbed to his injuries at the B & B Hospital at Gwarko, Lalitpur. His wife is undergoing treatment at the same hospital.

Ram Silwal, an eyewitness, said that an army truck rammed the motorcycle .

Dhungel, a teacher at the Child Nature School, was reportedly hit by the truck being driven by Captain Manoj Karki. RNA spokesperson Nepal Bhusan Chand confirmed the incident and said the army was looking into it.
