KATHMANDU: Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police arrested an absconding attempted murder convict from Kalanki of the Capital on Wednesday.

Kirshna Ram Budathoki (48) of Sitapaila VDC-1 in the Capital was convicted of attempted murder.

The Lalitpur District Court on July 11, 2013 had sentenced him to jail for 5 years.

Earlier, Budathoki had stabbed Binod Sah of Dharapani VDC-1 in Dhanusha district, then residing at Kupondol of Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City, on February 13, 2003.

Meanwhile, police presented Budathoki before the Lalitpur District Court, today. Subsequently; the Court sent the convict to Nakhkhu Prison for execution of the sentence.
