Austrian Foreign Minister Kneissl wraps up Nepal visit, leaves for Bhutan
KATHMANDU: Austria's Minister for Foreign Affairs Karin Kneissl has left for Bhutan today after completing her three-day official visit to Nepal.
The Austrian Minister had arrived here on an official visit at the friendly invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali.
During her stay here, she held a delegation-level bilateral meeting with Minister Gyawali and paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
Announcing the economic and technical assistance from the Government of Austria for the conservation efforts of Lalitpur Durbar Square, Minister Kneissl said she was confident that Nepal would achieve economic prosperity through the promotion of tourism and energy development.
Nepal's Ambassador to Austria Prakash Kumar Subedi, Joint-Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ghanshyam Bhandari, and Austria's Honorary Consul Rajesh Babu Shrestha reached Tribhuvan International Airport to see the Austrian Minister off.
