KATHMANDU: An unidentified gang of thieves on Saturday stole valuables belonging to a Swiss national from a Thamel-based hotel.

A laptop, Swiss Franc 300, NRs 41,500 and USD 80 – which make the total worth of around Rs 141,500 – were stolen from the Room Number 401 of the Tasidele Hotel in Thamel, KMC-29.

The Swiss woman Jelnus Bround (54) was asleep while her room's door was open today, police said.

While looking for the suspects, police are investigating into the case.
