KATHMANDU: A construction worker died after falling of the second floor of an under-construction building in Kaushaltar of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-15 of Bhaktapur, on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Krishna Rana Gwachha (42) of Suryamani in Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-1.

Police said Gwachha was severely injured after accidentally falling from the top floor of the under-construction two-storey house in Kaushaltar.

He was immediately rushed to the nearby Gaththaghar-based Nagarik Hospital, where he breathed his last while undergoing treatment.

Police said they are looking into the case.
