KATHMANDU: Defence Minister Bidhya Bhandari on Tuesday said that there was no evidence to show that the Nepal Army (NA) breached any norms and values of the civilian supremacy.

Speaking at a programme in the capital Bhandari said that the Nepal Army has been adopting changes between 2043 and 2062/63. She smelled a rat over the civilian supremacy issues. The previous government's decision on sacking the army chief was one of the examples of the conspiracies to weaken the bond in the security bodies, added Bhandari.
