Bibha Shah’s third day in the US

NEW YORK: My third day was the most important of my visit to New York. Early in the morning we had breakfast in the hotel and then left for the Empire State Building. We all went to the top of it and we could see the whole of New York. It was amazing!!!!!!!! It is something I will cherish forever. Afterwards, we left for the UN headquarters to meet Mr and Mrs Kofi Anan. We all had a comfortable, cosy place to sit and there were only a few people, including children from the nickelodeon. When they finished their work, it was our turn to present the Asian youth charter. Only two people, Ingrid from Thailand and me had the opportunity to introduce and read out the charter to Anan respectively. Also we had a jacket for him with the youth charter in it and he really appreciated it!!! He turned out to be a very down-to-earth gentleman. Being in such a high position he really made us feel comfortable and so did his wife, who was very sweet to all of us.
