Big III organising press meet on the eve of promulgation of Nepal's Constitution

KATHMANDU: The top leaders of three major parties are holding a joint press conference at the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar at 4 pm on the eve of promulgation of new constitution.

It has been learned that the top leaders of Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and UCPN-Maoist at the conference will urge all the disgruntled  groups and parties to attend the constitution commencement ceremony.

The ceremony is scheduled to be held at the CA meeting hall at 5 pm tomorrow.

Earlier, the parties had held a joint meeting at the PM's residence in Baluwatar and decided to invite all political forces, including Madhesi parties who boycotted the voting on new constitution, to come to the table for talks.

The leaders reportedly reviewed the visit of Indian Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's special envoy on the eve of promulgation of new constitution.
