KATHMANDU: Two motorcycle-borne persons snatched a gold chain from the neck of a 60-year-old woman in Galfutar and managed to escape on Tuesday, police said.

Yam Kumari Pokharel, a local resident, was walking in her neighbourhood when the chain snatchers targeted her.

The victim, however, could not read the registration of the motorcycle that the duo used for the heist.

The chain was made up of one tola gold, according to the victim.
