KATHMANDU: A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a motorcycle in Sukedhara of Kathmandu on Friday.

The injured has been identified as Bir Bahadur Shrestha (65) of Sindhupalchok, currently residing in Kathmandu.

Shrestha is receiving treatment at the Chabahil-based Om Hospital, according to the Metropolitan Police Cricle, Maharajgunj.

The incident occurred at around 4:30 am today.

Police said that they have impounded the two-wheeler (Ba 43 Pa 8313) and arrested its rider for investigation.
