KATHMANDU: An elderly man, who was critically injured after a motorbike hit him at Bahundhara of Imadole in Mahalaxmi Municipality-16 on Wednesday, died during the course of treatment at the Annapurna Neuro Hospital.

The deceased has been identified as Sher Bahadur Thapa (67) of Sindhupalchok.

Seriously injured Thapa was taken to the Kist Hospital in Gwarko, Lalitpur for treatment then referred to the Annapurna Neuro Hospital where he breathed his last in course of treatment, police informed.

Police said that they have impounded the bike (Ba 45 Pa 7426) and arrested its driver for investigation.
