Blood donation camp held in Valley

The local Marwadi Sewa Samiti is doing yeoman’s service. To mark the coming festival of Mahashivaratri, the Marwadi Sewa Samiti Nepal (MSSN) and Marwadi Mahila Manch jointly organised a blood donation programme here today. A statement issued here said, of the total 123 donors 11 werewomen. At the programme, Niti Ghiriya donated blood for the 87th time

and 22 years old visually-handicapped Basu Dev Adhikary also contributed. Hulas Chandra Golcha and Banwari Lal Mittal, who felicitated the donors, shed light on the importance of blood donation. They said that the MSSN has always been keen on doing social work. President of MSSN, Pawan Mittal, said the blood donation programme will meet the growing demand in the Blood Circulation Centre, Nepal Red Cross Society.
