Bombs at Schools: Maoist outfit owns responsibility

KATHMANDU: A least heard of Maoist outfit claimed that it planted and exploded bombs in several private schools in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

Min Bahadur Devkota, co-ordinator of the Maoist Communist Central of Nepal (MCCN), said carried out today's incidents after the talks with PABSON and NPABSON, organisation of private school operators, failed.

He further warned of closing all schools if the MCCN's demands were not met by PABSON and NPABSON.

MCCN is a semi-underground outfit, lead by Devendra Singh Mahat ‘Nirman’.

Meanwhile, All Nepal National Independent Students' Union (ANNISU) denied any involvement in the incidents.
