Book released

KATHMANDU:

Kaha Gaye Ti Dinharu a collection of essays and memories of Amber Gurung was released jointly by a score of litterateurs and artists here on Saturday.

Litterateurs and lyricists Kali Prasad Rijal and Ratna Shumsher Thapa, artiste Uttam Nepali, Prof Dr Govind Bhattarai and author himself released the book.

Addressing the function Amber Gurung said: “Music and literature can play a role to show a path of peace and love to younger generation who are getting involved in criminal activities these days.”

Gurung said that the moral lessons need to be incorporated in the education system to self assess ourselves. The book published by Ratna Pustak Bhandar is edited by Devendra Bhattarai. — HNS
