KATHMANDU: A police team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle Bouddh raided various local eateries in Makalbari, Gokarneshwor Municipality-14 and confiscated 200 litres of bootleg home-made liquor, 700 litres of raw materials and 20 plastic drums.

The confiscated booze and raw materials were destroyed later, police informed.

Police said that they have arrested Saili Sarki (35), a liquor brewer, of Mahottari for investigation.
