Braille books released

KATHMANDU: Early Rehabilitation Centre released two Braille books about inspirational people of the country on Sunday.

A press statement issued by the centre on Sunday said of the two books, one comprised the life stories of ten famous visually challenged Nepalis, while another book was about history of Lord Buddha.

The book about famous visually challenged Nepalis is supported by Solutions Consultant and dedicated in the memory of Late Niraj Pradhan, the founding partner of Solutions Consultants, while the next book is sponsored by Keepa Mathema.

The statement further read that with these two publications, the organisation altogether had ten inspirational books in the Braille format.

All ten books have been distributed free of cost to about 60 schools across country where visually challenged children are pursuing their studies.
