KATHMANDU: The budget session of the Legislature-Parliament began on Tuesday morning.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari had called the second session of Parliament on the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Speaker Onsari Gharti read out the President’s letter at the House while beginning the session.

The House will hold pre-budget discussion from tomorrow and President Bhandari will present the government’s policy and programme at the Parliament on May 8.

The next meeting has been scheduled for 11 am tomorrow.
