Kathmandu, November 13:

CA member and women’s rights lawyer Sapana Pradhan Malla today received the prestigious Gruber International Women’s Rights Award for Advancing Gender Equality-2008. She was honoured at a function organised at the Colombia School of Law in the US on Tuesday. Malla has been working to reform laws that discriminate against women. Yanar Mahommad and Dr Nadira Saluhabal also received the prize.
