CA members to use choppers to reach remote people for feedback on statute

KATHMANDU: The Constituent Assembly (CA) members will use air routes to reach the remote districts in order to collect people's feedback on the first integrated draft of the new constitution.

Helicopters will be chartered to reach to Humla and Dolpa for people's feedback on the constitution, Secretary at CA Secretariat Mukunda Sharma said.

CA members and Secretariat officials are visiting the districts to collect people's feedback on the draft statute, from tomorrow.

Earlier today, in a meeting of chiefs of the security bodies, Prime Minister Sushil Koirala instructed them to cooperate with the CA members in collecting public suggestions.

On the occasion, he also called on the entire country people to extend positive support regarding the constitution drafting.
