Cabinet endorses Legal Defence Directive
KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Cabinet on Thursday endorsed the Legal Defence Directive, which is aimed at defending Nepali migrant workers facing trial in various countries.
The meeting held at Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s residence in Baluwatar also concluded that the PM’s China visit that ended on June 24 was successful, according Minister of Communications and Information Technology Gokul Baskota.
The meeting also decided to sign an agreement with Bangladesh on Avoidance of Double Taxation and Prevention of Fiscal Evasion, besides issuing approval to table the Insurance Bill in the Parliament.
