Kathmandu, May 6 :

The student bodies of Tribhuvan University (TU) that are affiliated with different political parties have called on the seven-party alliance not to include people with tainted backgrounds in the government.

The student organisations also paid their homage to the martyrs of the Jan Andolan II through a press statement on Saturday. Urging the alliance to respect people’s voice, the student unions also demanded an effective cabinet of ministers.

The government should be able to deal with the issues raised in the mass movement, the

release added.
