Call to probe murder

Kathmandu, October 11:

The Nepal Printing Industries Association (NPIA) today urged the police to investigate the murder of printing entrepreneur Sujendra Shrestha and called on the government to provide compensation to his family .

A group of unidentified persons had stabbed Shrestha to death at Chabahil on September 28.

The NPLA put forth the demands at a function held here on the 13th day of Shrestha’s death. It blamed the police for not probing the case seriously.

“Frequent attacks on printing entrepreneurs by unidentified gangs have made us feel insecure,” Nanda Kishore Shrestha, NPIA president, said.

According to the NPIA, two printing entrepreneurs, Arjun Siwakoti and Bhagawan Das Shrestha, have died in attacks by unidentified persons in the country over a period of two years.
