KATHMANDU: The Office of the Controller of Examinations said minor incidents occurred during the Nepali test held on Friday as a part of the nationwide School Leaving Certificate examinations. According to Chitra Prasad Devkota, the controller, three students were expelled in Siraha district. “Such incidents took place elsewhere as well, particularly in the Tarai region, which cannot be ascertained without receiving written information from canters concerned,” he said. KATHMANDU: Nepal Association for the Welfare of the Blind (NAWB) on Friday inaugurated the National Braille Library in its central office, Tripurehswor. A press statement issued by the NAWB stated that the library has a stock of various literatures for visually impaired people. The library has been established under the unitary education system that has been in practice in 20 districts. The Seedling, Braille Book for Children, USA donated 100 Braille books to the library, stated the statement.
