HSEB transcript

Bhaktapur: Higher Secondary

Education Board (HSEB) has to manage the distribution of transcript,

migration and provisional certificates from the respective school with the view to providing its services in comfortable way. HSEB has planned to distribute the certificates in their

respective schools without visiting its central or regional offices for them, said Vice-chairman of the Board Prof Dr. Upendra Koirala. The

Board has established its regional offices in Biratnagar, Hetauda, Pokhara, Butawal, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Koteswor with

the view to provide its services comfortably. This provision would facilitate around 0.6 million students studying in various 2,511 higher secondary schools throughout the nation.

Doctors on strike

Kathmandu: Doctors affiliated

to the Residents’ Association of NAMS (RAN) working at the Institute of Medicine, Bir Hospital have stopped work since Friday morning. The step (to stop work) was taken in order to enforce the agreement that took place between the Institute

and RAN last Bhadra, RAN Secretary Dr Arbin Joshi said. We were compelled to stop work after failure of

repeated attempts to hold dialogue with the Institute, and ignorance on part of the Health Ministry, he added.
