Two apprehended

Bhaktapur: The Metropolitan Police Circle, Bhaktapur has arrested two persons along with two stolen motorcycles. Those arrested include Kishore Chaudhary of Dorna-9, Siraha and Ram Kumar Chaudhary of Bhuwanpur-5, Saptari, according to Sub-inspector of Police, Lila Khatri. The duo was found using fake registration number plates in the motorcycles that were stolen. Police also recovered a fake blue book and stamp from the accused.

UCPN-M meet put off

Kathmandu: The UCPN-Maoist Central Committee meeting scheduled for 3:00 pm today was postponed. As the ongoing politburo meeting was not completed and there was rumour of valley banda by the indigenous communities on Friday, the meeting was rescheduled for 11:00 am on Saturday, January 2, 2010, said party office secretary Bikesh Shrestha.

MA results published

Kathmandu: Tribhuvan University, Office of the Controller of Examinations, Balkhu has published the results of the examinations of Master of Arts 2nd year of Political Science (except thesis) under the Humanities and Social Science Faculty (new course), held in 2065.
