KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 131,000 was stolen from a house in Saraswati Nagar, Kapan in Kathmandu, police said.

Unidentified thief struck at Masin Lama's rented room in the house and decamped with valuables including Rs 50,000 in cash and gold ornaments on Monday.

It has been learned that the room was unattended at the time of theft.
