KATHMANDU: A man drowned into a pond at Kisipidi, Chandragiri Municipality in Kathmandu on Saturday.

According to police, the deceased has been identified as Harish Maharjan (25) of Chandragiri-8.

Maharjan, who was injured while swimming in the pond, had been taken to Bageshwori Hospital of Balambu for treatment.

Later, he was referred to the Sahid Memorial Hospital, Kalanki.

But, Maharjan died on the way, police said.
