Chinese aid for House
Kathmandu, September 25:
A high-level Chinese delegation led by the vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Wang Zhongyu, pledged about 300,000 yuan aid to the interim-parliament.
During the meeting with Speaker Subas Nembang on Tuesday, Zhongyu promised to provide the amount.
The delegation also met Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala at Baluwatar and reiterated Chinese support to Nepal’s peace process.
Nepal-China bilateral and economic ties were discussed during the meeting. The delegation had arrived in Kathmandu on Monday for a three-day visit.
