KATHMANDU: Chinese ambassador to Nepal Yu Hong has called on CPN-UML Chair and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the UML parliamentary party office at Singh Durbar on Thursday.

According to UML parliamentary party's deputy leader Subash Nembang, they held discussions on contemporary political issues among others.

On the occasion, ambassador Yu inquired about local level elections and constitution amendment bill.

In response, chair Oli informed that all political parties are committed to making the first phase of the local polls (May 14) successful.
