KATHMANDU: The Chinese State Councilor and Minister of National Defence, General Chang Wanquan on Friday paid a courtesy call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari at the latter's office in Sheetal Niwas, Kathmandu.

On the occasion, they discussed the issues of bilateral relations between Nepal and China, according to a press statement issued by the Office of the President today itself.

The Chinese delegation under the leadership of Chang is on a three-day official visit to Nepal at the invitation of Minister for Defence, Bal Krishna Khand.

Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Yu Hong, was also present on the occasion.
