KATHMANDU: A delegation led by Deputy Governor of China's Sichuwan province, Huangxiao Xiang today met Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal at the latter's office in Singha Durbar. The delegation extended invitation to PM Nepal to participate in the West China International Trade Fair in October.

According to PM Nepal's foreign affairs advisor Rajan Bhattarai, they also discussed various bilateral issues. Xiang assured that China was ready to assist Nepal in the field of technology and hydropower sector. The PM urged the Chinese side to support Nepal’s peace process. He also requested the Chinese side to increase assistance in Nepal’s development.
