Kathmandu, November 2:

The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) today directed newly appointed

regional administrators to effectively control corruption in their regions.

CIAA’s high-ranking officials directed them to follow the CIAA guidelines while investigating graft cases under their jurisdiction. Regional administrators Ananda Prasad Pokhrel, Dip Kumar Basnet, Rudra Kumar Shrestha, Binod Gyawali and Hari Prasad Nepal attended the meeting. The CIAA also directed them to submit progress reports in every three months.

The CIAA has delegated power to the regional administrations to control corruption in their respective regions.
