CIAA drags teacher to Special Court for fake credentials
KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) today filed a case at the Special Court against a school teacher for fake academic credentials.
According to the anti-graft body, its investigation revealed that Chandra Kanta Chaudhary, who currently teaches at Magar Gaun Higher Secondary School at Sankhu VDC-5 of Lalitpur, presented fake certificates while entering the teaching profession.
The CIAA said Chaudhary had acquired fake certificates of Intermediate in Science (ISc) that showed he passed ISc from the Intermediate Education Council of Patna, in 1993.
The CIAA has sought maximum punishment against the accused as per the existing anti-graft laws.
