Clinic helps needy

Eleven-year-old Shamsher Gurung, who is suffering from a heavy cheek, is going to have his seventh operation this month in two years.

According to a press release issued today by the Chhatrapati Free Clinic, the clinic has been involved in the treatment of Gurung for two years. While Dolma Sherpa of GTZ, “Babuko Asha”, Lions Club of Balaju, Asian Paints, Dinesh Shrestha of ITC have provided financial support for the treatment, Dr Keshav Das Joshi, the ex-chief and senior plasic surgeon at Bir Hospital, has provided his service for the treatment. Meanwhile, the CFC said it needed aid for the treatment of Rajani Bistha who has a hole in her heart.
