Conman swindles woman of gold ornaments
KATHMANDU: A woman was reportedly swindled of her gold ornaments by an unidentified person at Old Bus Park in KMC-31, police said.
Laxmi Thapa (29), a permanent resident of Chautara, Sindhupalchok, lodged a complaint that the conman showed her a mass of fake gold and took away her ornaments made up of two tola gold yesterday.
Police said that they are looking into the case.
