KATHMANDU: A construction worker died after falling from the second floor of a building in Dhapasi of Kathmandu.

Ram Tamang (28), a permanent resident of Rautbesi-2 of Nuwakot district, currently residing in Kapan of the Capital, was plastering a wall while he suddenly fell down, on Friday.

The labourer had sustained critical injuries and was rushed to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj for treatment.

Police said he breathed his last today at the health facility.

Further investigation is underway.
