Kathmandu, August 12:

A man’s timely call helped police recover stolen cash and goods from the man’s residential compound. Nimkrishna Manandhar of Tinthana, Kathmandu, alerted police a computer and cash was stolen from his house. In the search, the Tinthana police team found the computer and Rs 7,000 stashed in a bush in the backyard. Meanwhile, three persons stole one computer, a television set, camera, whiskey worth Rs 2,000 and Rs 900 from Dhabalagiri-Annapurna Guest House.
