KATHMANDU: The central office of the CPN-UML is to shift in Pasanglhamu Memorial building at Shankhapark, Dhumbarahi, on July 23.

The UML is shifting its central office as the destructive earthquake on April 25 had badly damaged the party office at Madannagar, Balkhu, affecting the day-to-day works.

Secretary at the party central office, Krishna Gopal Shrestha, said that the central office would be shifted in the Memorial Day of party’s founding general secretary Pushpalal.

It is said that the UML’s central office would stationed at Dhumbarahi for five years.

Shrestha said that the party politburo meeting on July 25 and central committee meeting on July 26 would be held in the new office building.
