Woman killed

KATHMANDU: A woman, who was critically injured in a road mishap, died while being taken to Star Hospital, last night. Sonakachhi Jha, who hails from Parsa and living in Jamal was hurt when a private car skidded off the road at Taudaha hit her. Police have taken into custody, Sanjeev Agrawal (19), the car driver hailing from Baneshwor, Kathmandu. —HNS

Property stolen

KATHMANDU: An unidentified gang managed to flee with property and valuables worth Rs 15, 65,000 from a house in Kathmandu Metropolitan City- 3, Dhapasi, on Saturday. According to police, the gang had broken into the house Anu Singh and made away Rs 1,03,000, diamond and 478.22 grams of gold. Meanwhile, property worth Rs 1, 26,000 has been robbed from a house of Ram Bahadur Gole at Bishnu Budhanilkantha VDC- 8. The police have launched investigation into the incidents. —HNS
