CRIME WATCH : Five robbers held for Koteshwor haul

Kathmandu, August 4:

The police arrested five robbers involved in the Dakshinkali robbery at Koteshwor yesterday.

Police said the gang robbed the houses of Narayan Prasad Subedi, Radha Krishna Subedi, Krishna Prasad Subedi, and Nilkantha Subedi at Dakshinkali VDC-7, 12 days ago. The gang made off with property worth Rs 1.14 million from the houses. Those held have been identified as Jagat Bahadur Lopchan of Kaldhara VDC-7 in Kavre, Bhim Bahadur Bomjan, Kancha Lama and Milan Lama of Amale VDCs-1, 8 and 4 of Sindhuli and Dudh Raj Syangtan of Rai Gaon VDC-2 in Makwanpur.

Property, cash looted

Kathmandu: Robbers snatched property and cash from the house of Suresh Khatri at Budhanilkantha VDC-3 on Thursday. According to police, they took away cash Rs 1,00,000 IC, ornaments worth Rs 75,000, a TV set, a Deck, and a DVD player. In another incident, snatchers took away Rs 80,000 in cash and a mobile set from the East-West Manpower at KMC-35 today.
