Dahal calls for making no further delay in unification
KATHMANDU: CPN Maoist Centre Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal has remarked that no further delay should be made in unification between the party and CPN-UML.
Inaugurating the national seminar on "Today's Marxism, democracy, prosperity and socialism" organised by the Karl Marx Bicentennial Celebrations Committee here today, leader Dahal said the unification would take place within the next few days.
Stating that a delay in unification would lead the nation towards anarchy, he said he wanted to give a new message to the world through the unification between two political parties. As he claimed on the occasion, the nation would further become stronger and would see new transformation once two political parties formally united.
Also speaking at the programme, CPN-UML senior leader Jhalanath Khanal stated that he sees no alternative to uniting the Communist parties to create a base for socialism by ending consumerism and bourgeois culture.
The seminar will run for two days.
